How to use our site
Important
Most important, please don't use the 'back' and 'forward' buttons on your web browser. To make sure you always have the most accurate information, use our navigation buttons and links on each page. Most pages will have their own 'back' and 'next' buttons at the bottom of the page.
Help
You'll notice that throughout the site we have little help icons that look like this: 
If you need help, just click on one of these icons, and an explanation will appear in a window on the left hand side of the screen. You can close the window by clicking on 'close'.
Error messages
If you enter incorrect information the error will be highlighted in red. A pop up box will also appear on your screen. You can close the pop up by clicking on 'close'. You will also see an error message if we are unable to give you a quote for any reason.
Don't have time to buy online?
If you get a quote and want to buy a policy, but don't have time - don't worry. You can save your quote by entering a few personal details, and can come back and retrieve your quote in the next 90 days (or up to your cover start date, if earlier) using the reference we will give you. You can then buy your policy online and all your insurance documents will be sent to you by first class mail.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files which are placed on your computer. We use sessional and persistent cookies to enhance the level of service we provide to you.
We use these cookies to record the areas of the site you visit and the length of time you spend viewing them. This allows us to continually improve your experience on the site. The cookies do not identify a user by name. Your browser keeps track of sessional cookies as long as it’s running, but deletes them when it is shut down.
We use up to 90 day persistent cookies if you come to our site from an affiliate site, as a means of tracking the effectiveness of our online advertising. These cookies do not identify a user by name, and are only used to record what site you came from and whether you return to the site within 90 days.
